How does the panel communicate if the internet drops?
Ask which path is primary, which is backup, and what the system does when both are unavailable. Confirm whether any cellular backup covers alarm signals only.
What happens to the sensors during a power cut?
Ask for the battery type, expected runtime and how you are told a battery is low — for the panel and for each sensor category.
Can my existing sensors be reused?
Sometimes. Send model numbers and photos of the panel; a compatibility review should come before any replacement quote.
